The Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP) is a national network of laypeople and professionals who are committed to upholding the humanitarian values and ethical standards of medicine enshrined in the Hippocratic Oath and in the Nuremberg Code (1947).
AHRP’s mission is to ensure that the moral right of voluntary medical decision-making is upheld. The AHRP raises public awareness about the issue through educational campaigns; informing research subjects about their rights, alerting the media, politicians, and concerning groups about the situation.
